The Johnson Suite

Named in honor of Tom Johnson, who served as Somerset’s mayor for 15 years, this room pays tribute to a man who helped transform the village into a vibrant hub of commerce and community. His friendship with the owners of Pigfoot Inn makes this dedication especially meaningful.

The Nellie Room
The Nellie Room features a queen bed and a full private bath with heated floors. It is named in honor of Nellie Sheridan, Somerset’s first female postmaster. A dedicated civic leader, she played a key role in erecting her uncle General Phil Sheridan’s statue in Somerset Square, chaired the local Red Cross during World War I, and served on several political committees. Her trailblazing spirit and commitment to public service made her a role model, inspiring Somerset Mayor Gwen Young to commission a statue in her honor at the heart of town.

The Finck Room
The Finck room features a queen bed and a full private bath with heated floors. Named for John Finck, a pioneering Pennsylvanian of German descent who, alongside Jacob Miller, helped shape early Somerset by establishing one of the village’s original tavern. Offering food and rest to travelers of the new territory, Finck’s legacy lives on in this cozy hotel-style room, featuring a queen-size bed and full private bath. A welcoming space with a nod to the town’s earliest days of hospitality.

Named after Jacob Miller, founder of one of Ohio’s oldest standing taverns—Jacob Miller’s Tavern, just steps away on historic Pigfoot Square—this room pays tribute to Somerset’s rich past. Check-in is self-guided and available anytime after 4 pm. Check-out is anytime before 11 am. When booking the entire Pigfoot Inn, you’ll receive a unique access code via email two days before your arrival that unlocks both the front and back doors. All interior room doors will be unlocked and open upon your arrival. When booking an individual room or suite, you will receive your own personal code two days prior to your arrival that opens the exterior doors as well as your private room—no other guests will have access to your room.

Our nightly rates adjust dynamically based on factors like demand, seasonality, local events, and booking patterns, so prices may vary over time. We recommend booking early to secure the best rate. Out standard policy typically requires full-house bookings on weekends, and individual rooms or full house bookings mid-week. If you’re interested in booking an individual room for a future weekend, please check back the Sunday before on our website for announcements regarding availability or inquire via email.

Guests who cancel at least 21 days before check-in will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 7 and 21 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.
